The Trust was established in 2015 with the principle aim of protecting Community Centres, Sports Facilities and other Community Assets from possible closure in response to local government spending cuts. The Trust is administered by Trustees and employs a team of staf

f. If you need space for a regular weekly activity or one-off event, you’ve come to the right place. Hemlington Lake & Recreation Centre and Barn Annex offer large and small rooms suitable for any event or activity. Whether you run a Dance School or deliver educational courses, we have a room suited to your needs. All rooms include free WIFI, access to coffee and tea making facilities and projector starting at £17.00 per hour. Give us a call on 07419 742284, or drop us a text requesting a call back.

♻️ Fundraise & Recycle Ltd have a project called ‘Community Connect’.

🙋‍♀️ Their aim is to educate children and their families about the importance of recycling and becoming more eco-friendly by reducing carbon footprint, whilst at the same time raising money for the Hemlington Lake & Recreation Centre

👕 The Helmington Centre has two clothes banks for unwanted clothing and shoes to be donated into.

⚠️ Once these are full we give them a call and they will come and empty the banks within 24 hours.

🙍‍♀️ They have over 150 schools and community centres joining in on their project.

⬇️ So please come, donate your clothes and spread the word.
