We complete the 2025/26 season with a victory over Cowtons FC.

A soggy morning at The Castle Ground that saw both teams picking postions out of a hat - giving George Catterall a chance to show us his goalkeeping skills, along with Scotty Guy demonstrating his pace on the left wing - and Kieran Hawes finally had his chance up top after begging all season long...

MOM - David Hickin - who was already cramping up in the pub after the game, after a solid shift in centre mid!

Sunday. Silverware. History made. 🏆🏆

The Boars are officially Hambleton Football Combination Division 1 Champions 2025/26 - and what a journey it’s been.

No football in Middleham for 17 years… fast forward just four seasons and this group has delivered promotion, a League Cup, a Division 1 Cup and now a league title. A club rebuilt, and a future that’s only just getting started!

We also said goodbye to Jim in the best possible way, with a brilliant crowd down at The Castle Ground - your support made the day what it was. Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with us.

On the pitch, it ended 3-3... points shared!

One more to go.

We’re back this Sunday at home to Cowtons FC for the final game of an unforgettable season. Let’s fill The Castle Ground and finish strong. 🐗

​The final whistle has blown on an era! We just wanted to share our gratitude for Jim Wilson, who took charge of his last game this weekend.

​From the first kick off in 1976 to the 3,460th in 2026, Jim has shown unmatched dedication to the game. It was a privilege to see him recognized by both the Hillsprint Hambleton Football Combination and Scott’s for Storage League, surrounded by his family, friends and his grandchildren who got involved in the presentations!

​Enjoy your well-earned retirement from the pitch, Jim! We look forward to seeing you around the club. 🍻

Now, 3,460 games later, his incredible journey comes full circle as he blows the final whistle right here at Middleham. 👏
