Schools can benefit from educational programmes and a well equipt, comfortable bunkhouse which can sleep very large groups with separate rooms for staff. Families and groups can enjoy a whole range of adventurous activities and can choose to camp or stay in the pleasant cottage overlooking the river and rolling hills. We’re recruiting for the 2027 season! 🧗‍♀️🌲

We’re looking for experienced Outdoor Instructors and Duty Managers to join the team at Parkwood Outdoors Dolygaer from February 2027.

If you love the outdoors, enjoy working with people and want to be part of a busy adventure centre in the heart of the Brecon Beacons, we’d love to hear from you.

Role details:

Fixed-term contract, February–August
40 hours per week
£25,000–£27,500
Minimum of two NGB instructor qualifications
Free on-site accommodation available

You’ll be helping to deliver memorable outdoor experiences for schools, groups and visitors across a wide range of activities.

A weekend well spent on the water 🌊

On Saturday, members of the Dolygaer team joined the team from Plas Menai to provide water safety support for Race the Sun Snowdon.

It was a fantastic event to be part of, helping to keep participants safe as they took on an incredible challenge in North Wales.

A big well done to everyone who took part — and to all the teams working behind the scenes to make events like this possible. 👏
