We are delighted to confirm that Merthyr Town FC Academy trials for our Foundation Phase programme for the 2026/27 season.

If your child is passionate about football and wants to develop within a FAW Licensed Academy environment, we would love to see them at our upcoming trials.

📅 U10 & U11 – Friday 26th June
⏰ 5:30pm Start

📅 U8 & U9 – Friday 3rd July
⏰ 4:00pm Start

📍 Penydarren Park, Merthyr Tydfil : 3G pitch

⚽ Shin pads must be worn and suitable 3G boots.

⏰ Please arrive 20 minutes before the advertised start time

👏🏼 Junior Martyrs can watch the Martyrs for just £3.04 per game!

Merthyr Town FC Academy are delighted to confirm that, following approval, we will be launching our Foundation Phase Programme for the 2026/27 season.

The academy will now include:

⚫️ U11

Trial registrations are now open, with dates and times to be announced over the weekend.
