Nice to be back on the field on a Sunday, away to Deri. back after 6 weeks boys were busting for it. 15 man team no subs, excellent performance 1-15, all credit to Deri hard team to play against, really well drilled. A well deserved win by dowlais, 5-14. Keep it up boys.

Wasn’t meant to be. Tough game against much improved clwb rugbi. Our boys didn’t turn up today live and learn. Clwb R 53 - Dowlais 5. Gotta take the good with the bad. Good to see some of the new players getting stuck in. Dick of the day goes to whole team. But captain Logan takes the forfeit.

Well what a team and what a week. Very busy parents this week that are having some difficulties getting their child to the game on sun. but our brill parents have rallied round offering lifts to ensure all our players get to the game. Don’t think there’s one car going with only 1 player. That’s car pooling. 🚗
Nothing is too much trouble for our parents and team.

And we’re also happy say that we welcome 3 new players who have joined us. Building and increasing on the strength of this amazing team and bunch of boys 👏🙌👊💪 upperdow🏉🏉
