⚽🧡 Seniors – What A Battle! 🧡⚽
Huge well done to our Gurnos Seniors who came up against Penydarren Reserves at The Bont today! 👏🔥
The lads came flying out of the blocks, firing in 3 goals inside the first 15 minutes! ⚽⚽⚽
An unfortunate red card changed the game, allowing Penydarren back into the contest before they eventually took the lead at 4-3.
But the character shown by our lads was absolutely outstanding. 💪🔥 Playing the majority of the game with 10 men, the determination, work rate and belief never dropped.
And that hard work paid off as the boys dug deep to level the game at 4-4! 👏🧡
A point at The Bont is a great result, but the real positive today was the never-give-in attitude shown by every single player.
That’s what Gurnos is all about. 🧡⚽

⭐ Luke Jones – Didn't stop running from minute 1 to minute 90. His positivity and encouragement towards his teammates throughout the game was fantastic to see.
⭐ Jack Davies – A fantastic performance, once again showing sheer determination and posing a threat throughout the game. Jack also completed a brilliant hat-trick! ⚽⚽⚽
A massive well done to the whole squad, including everyone who came off the bench and made a fantastic impact when called upon. 👏👏
The lads now turn their attention to cup football next week, where they face Penygraig at The Greeny. 🏆⚽
