On Saturday our fantastic course played host to another cracker of a Championship Final Day.

The Ladies Final was another great contest, Dawn Davies and Janine Thomas took to the course on the back of great seasons to fight it out.

Some brilliant golf played by both, but Janine retained her title after reading the slope perfectly and chipping onto the green just inches from the hole.

Thanks to everyone for you support on the day and to the club for hosting another brilliant finals day.

One of the best days in the golfing calendar, Championship Finals Day at Morlais Castle Golf Club

The weather is looking good and the course is in great shape, ready to host the ladies final between Dawn Davies and Janine Thomas.
Both have had fantastic seasons, so this is going to be a great final.

Hope to see you all up there supporting and then celebrating in the bar after 🏌🏻‍♀️⛳️

What a fantastic day at a joyous, if not a little warm, Open Day at Morlais Castle Golf Club

We want to thank all the teams for supporting and making the day such a success, we hope you enjoyed the course as much as we did hosting you.

And now to the all important results, which have been put into the below tables. Thanks once again to Robert Haliday for producing the brilliant final leader board and special prize results.

Thinking about giving golf a try? ⛳️

Morlais Castle Golf Club’s Ladies’ Section is hosting a free taster session on Sunday 23rd August, from 10:30am to 11:30am.

No experience is needed, all equipment will be provided, and the session is designed to be relaxed, friendly and welcoming. It is the perfect opportunity to try something new, meet the ladies and enjoy an introduction to golf in a supportive environment.

Afterwards, everyone is invited to join us in the bar for a drink and a chat.

The conditions well and truly tested our Ladies but some great scores, in that weather, on the first 18hole comp of the season, the Flooks cup
