How coaching helped Tom transform his body and grow both mentally and physically 👇

Before I started working with Tom, he was struggling to achieve the results he wanted.

Tom wanted to tone up so he could feel more confident in himself.

But he struggled with structure around exercise and his diet like many.

How to enjoy your weekends whilst losing body fat ⬇️

It’s no secret the weekends and social occasions is where a lot of you struggle when it comes to your diet and fat loss efforts!

Throughout the week you are exercising, staying active, and following your diet, you feel great right?

But then the weekend comes round which involves a lot of food and drink and by Monday, you feel tired, bloated, and guilty 😩

You end up spinning your wheels and not getting anywhere!

Sounds familiar?

Well, it’s the amount of calories / food you consume over a longer period of time that will dictate whether you lose body fat or not.

Here is a nice strategy I like to use with my clients which will help you enjoy the weekend and still stay on track with your diet.

In this example we need 2000 calories per day to lose body fat. That’s 14,000 calories across the course of a week.

Instead of trying to ‘be perfect’ and hit 2000 per day every day including the weekend, we can bank calories Monday to Friday ✅

We don’t need a huge deficit to bank calories so we take off 200 kcal per day from the 2000 Monday to Friday (which adds up to 1000 calories in total).

The weekend comes around and you have an extra 1000 calories to add on to the 2000 on both Saturday and Sunday.

We can add 500 kcal on each day or 1000 all onto 1 day depending on the weekend plans or social occasion!

You could used this strategy based on your own calorie targets.

You can easily fit things in with the additional calories if you are sensible! 🔑

The great thing is you probably won’t even notice the small calorie drop each day in the week.

Give it a go this week based on your own calorie targets if you have plans this weekend.

⚠️ Just remember, this is a strategy to help you navigate your social life, not a reward system!

If you do struggle with ‘binging’ or your relationship with food, then this may not be the best strategy.

Before I started working with Damian, he was struggling to achieve the results he wanted. He had tried other personal trainers before but it never worked out.
