Our lovely Jackie is trotting off into the sunset for the most exciting adventure of all, becoming a mum. She’s decided not to return after maternity leave, so we’re on the lookout for someone wonderful to fill her boots (they’re muck‑covered but full of charm).

About the Role
We’re offering a part‑time position of 15 hours per week, which includes one weekend day. The role involves all the usual yard duties, so experience handling horses is essential, no amount of enthusiasm can replace knowing which end is which.

Who You’ll Be Joining
A friendly, established team who work hard, laugh often, and never judge anyone for talking to the horses like they’re people. If you love a good yard chat, appreciate a well‑swept stable, and don’t mind the occasional muddy hug from a four‑legged colleague, you’ll fit right in.

What We’re Looking For

Confident and competent around horses

Reliable, cheerful, and happy to muck in (literally)

Someone who enjoys being part of a supportive team

Hello we had a lovely time thank you (other than I parted company with my slightly over zealous pony he is now known bucking Bruno but no damage done little sod) the fog cleared pretty quickly… and ground was perfect
We will definitely be back as such an easy drive!!!

Hours: 20 hours per week (including 1 weekend day)
About Us:
We’re looking for a dedicated and reliable Stable Yard Worker who’s passionate about horses and ready to roll up their sleeves and get involved in the daily fun and essential tasks that keep our stables running smoothly. If you love mucking out, grooming, and hanging out with horses, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Horse Handling: Be the horse whisperer you’ve always dreamed of! Help with turning out, bringing in, and assisting with general care of our four-legged friends.
Mucking Out: Say goodbye to a pristine yard and hello to keeping our stables clean, tidy, and fresh!
General Yard Duties: From checking water troughs to feeding, sweeping, and maintaining the yard, no task is too small.
Safety & Care: Ensure all horses and equipment are looked after, making safety your top priority (and keeping everything in tip-top shape!).
What You’ll Need:
Competence in handling horses of all shapes and sizes.
A positive attitude and a love for outdoor work—rain or shine, we’re out there.
Previous stable yard experience preferred,
Ability to lift bales of hay, muck out with gusto, and generally keep up with the demands of the yard.
Flexibility to work weekends, because we know the horses still need attention even on a Saturday and Sunday!
