Ariel!!

Over the time of this last month, Ariel has increased her efforts toward sparring as she strived in Sparnado and perfecting her kihon and kata for upcoming gradings.

Her consistency and commitment cannot go unnoticed.

Today we held our third Sparfest and it was yet another successful day!

Although it being 25 degrees, everyone that attended put the effort in and we hope you gained more fight experience from the event.

A big well done to our small team of 3 who set of today to fight in a K1 event in Leicester!

A brilliant new experience for our fighters as they’ve only fought in tournaments that are kyokushin rules. Not only did they step out of their comfort zones,they also all came home with gold!!

All three of our students came across tough opponents,and as always they showed perseverance, determination and demonstrated true kyokushin spirit in a room full of different styles of martial arts.

We are incredibly proud and can’t wait to see you in action again!

On saturday , Ronin entered a small squad of juniors into the Haito novice tournament.

All of our competitors fought with great spirit, pride and determination , and all went in with the mindset of a mature , experienced fighter.

We are extremely proud of each and every one of them and look forward to entering them in further tournaments!

This weekend we took 6 fighters to Copa De España,and we couldn’t be prouder.

All 6 fighters faced several tough opponents and fought brilliantly and have done the club extremely proud.

We even came back with silverware…

Henry Fowler became under 21 Spanish champion, winning both fights with a fast ushiro mawashi jodan.

Jinny Kettell came 2nd place winning her first fight by a full ippon.

Harvey Jones had one fight ,but fought courageously against a tough opponent.

Overall a great weekend away watching great fights and gaining more experience.
