It's Stuart Pid Hall again and I'm pleased to say that Dan Spincer and myself will be pimping up our wheelchairs and taking part in the LOROS Hospice Twilight Walk in Leicester on Saturday 20th June. This will not only help us raise vital funds for a charity that was a favourite for Claire but also allows us to take part in a local event which will be great experience and one we are looking forward to.

Stuart Pid Hall here and I’m pleased to say Dan Spincer and myself yesterday completed the first event in our 5 Race Challenge … the Bristol 10k.

We found it to be a pretty tough course for our wheelchairs with lots of steep hills, narrow streets, cobblestones, gravel, and at least 10 hairpin turns! Not too easy in wheelchairs that have no sense of direction!! 😱

Thanks as always to Ollie and his team at the Great North Run but a HUGE thank you as well to the people of Bristol who turned out in their numbers and their amazing support certainly helped us get up those hills.

We are supporting both Nicholls Spinal Injury Foundation and Whizz Kidz and obviously everything helps us keep alive the memory and legacy of Claire.

Hi everyone, its Stuart Pid Hall here and a week today Dan Spincer and myself should have completed the first event in our 5 Race Challenge ... the Bristol 10k in wheelchairs. Its a new area for us to visit in our challenges that always include the Great North Run.

We can't wait to sample first hand the fantastic support of the Bristol.Live community.

We are supporting two charities this year that were close to Claire's heart and all the donations received will add to the ongoing legacy in Claire's name ... Whizz Kidz and Nicholls Spinal Injury Foundation.

It's Stuart Pid Hall back again and I just wanted to remind you about a date for your diary ... Sunday 6th September will see the first Claire Lomas Memorial Rideout take place. This will follow the same format as the hugely popular R2R Charity Rideout that Claire organised for 10 years.

It's Pid here and I wanted to let you know that I've just launched my first online charity auction of the year to continue the amazing legacy for Claire.

Although we reached the fantastic total of £1million last October, I have vowed to continue with the fundraising to keep Claire's memory and legacy alive.

This auction includes amazing items from Badminton IHT, Bramham Park IHT, Hickstead IHT, Cheltenham Race Day, British Masters Golf, Notts CCC, Lancs CCC, Ariat Boots, Greetham Valley GC and two breaks from the Calf Shed and Greystonedale Mansion.

With the challenges and events planned for this year we are supporting three charities that meant a lot to Claire ... they are Nicholls Spinal Injury Foundation, Whizz Kidz and LOROS Hospice.

Hi again, its Stuart Pid Hall and I have a date for the diaries for all those motorcycle riders out there.

On Sunday 6th September 2026 we are holding our annual rideout but instead of this being the 11th Road2Recovery Rideout, this will follow the same format but will be the first CLAIRE LOMAS MEMORIAL RIDEOUT.

Please spread the word to all your friends as I would love to make this the biggest turnout we have ever had to celebrate the amazing life and personality of a truly amazing lady.

This year we are supporting another local charity that Claire loved to help, the LOROS Hospice.

Our route as always starts at the Wistow Cafe Bistro and follows a scenic route through the countryside to finish at the beautiful Eye Kettleby Lakes
