Well done Emily!

Good luck to Emily Freitakaite who becomes the eighth player from the Borders to play the Road to Wimbledon 14U National Finals on the hallowed turf of SW19 this week! 🌱

Emily is part of the eight player squad from Scotland (four boys, four girls) who qualified as county champion for this year's prestigious finals, where she'll play both singles and doubles events against some of the top juniors from across the UK.

Pictured below in the grounds after her first practice session with coach Michael, who is tasked with smuggling as many Wimbledon towels back to Innerleithen as he can manage. And cheering on Emily too, of course.

We hope you have a fabulous experience Emily! 🎾

Congratulations to St Boswell's Martha on winning the Grade 5 16U Girls Singles Scotland Tour over the weekend!

Martha put in a serious shift by winning her round robin group against fellow St Boswells player Mya, and then made a serious comback from 3-0 down against the 2nd seed to win 4-3, 0-4, 10-7! Martha then played Earlston's Emily in the final and took the win with an epic 4-0, 3-4, 10-7 match tie break!

Shoutout to St Boswells players for playing in our local tournament: Mya, Imogen, Annie, and Martha!

🏆Congratulations to our Red Ball Players for winning the 8U red ball District Team Challenge!

We had 12 St Boswells players playing in the district team programme at Earlston.

St Boswells 1, Chloe, Posy, Donncha, and Ollie were crowned champions of the event with over 150 points!

And St Boswells 2 finished 3rd and St Boswells 3 5th!

The event is part of the Tennis Scotland District Team Programme where the winning team goes to the National Finals in Glasgow!

Well done to everyone who played: Chloe, Posy, Donncha, Ollie, Angus, Monty, Magnus, Morris, Olive, Mia, Dido, and Jemima!

Thank you to coaches and all the helpers for running the fun event!
