Congratulations to all our students who passed their Colour Belt Gradings last night - a fantastic effort by all to achieve their next grades!🥋

A fantastic testing with students whether grading or not in class, having lots of energy, noise and enthusiasm! Always a tough one giving the summer holidays and break but still so many worthy of going up to their next belts!💥

Enjoy and wear your new belts with pride, as next week brings a new phase! Congrats again to all, you smashed it and you got this! 👊

Well done to our indomitable spirit award winners too! Shout out to Max in junior beginners, Grace in advanced and Olly for the adults! 🏆

Leo absolutely smashed it over the weekend, which we had no doubt you would do - we cannot wait to celebrate with you in class tonight! 👏

All the hard work over the years from joining us as a little lion to now is paying off and that’s down to Leo’s continued effort, hard work and determination! 🙏

Mondays advanced juniors got to do what we can only call ‘aggressive cpr’ to the pads - luckily they know that it’s not quite how you should do it but was extremely fun! 🤩

Happy birthday Mila! 🎂

Every single student always receives a birthday card with a special message from the team, packed full of goodies to celebrate their big day!! 🙌

We also send out postcards to welcome those joining our classes, smashing a big grading, even welcoming mini ninjas to the world - whatever the occasion we love to celebrate it all 👊

We’ll see you all on Monday - we can’t wait!!!😆

We mentioned a couple weeks ago about the importance of bowing in class and were deeply impressed that last night EVERY single student, parent and spectator bowed when coming in and leaving class! 🙌 👏

It is incredibly important for the junior students to understand mutual respect from everyone who comes through the doors to class so a big thank you from us! 🙏 😁

🎒 A NEW SCHOOL YEAR IS A NEW OPPORTUNITY TO GROW. 🥋

The summer holidays are coming to an end, routines are returning and another school year is just around the corner.

But getting ready for September isn’t just about new shoes, uniforms and stationery.

It’s about helping our children walk through those school gates feeling ready, capable and confident.

At Leadership Martial Arts, we believe martial arts gives children more than physical skills. Every class is an opportunity to develop the qualities that help them succeed in school and in life:

🔴 Confidence — believing they can have a go
⚫ Focus — learning to concentrate and listen
🔴 Discipline — doing what’s needed, even when it’s difficult
⚫ Resilience — getting back up after setbacks
🔴 Respect — treating themselves and others positively
⚫ Leadership — making good choices and setting an example

These aren’t skills that disappear when training ends.

They’re skills that can show up in the classroom, in friendships, at home, on the sports field and eventually in the wider world.

So as your child heads back to school this September, ask yourself:

What qualities are you helping them take with them?

Because the most valuable things they carry into a new school year aren’t always the things you can put in a school bag.

Congratulations to Marie Anne for being our adults indomitable spirit award winner for July, she not only works hard herself but supports everyone in class and ensures that her kids do too! 👏

We work closely with her and Bowerhill primary school where she goes above and beyond to support, run and invite us in for all the school events and visits - which we are eternally grateful for!🫶

We hope you and the family enjoy the summer break and we can’t wait to see you all back in class soon! ☀️
