Here we go…..

Big day for the club with plenty going on to celebrate MTCC👏👏

It’s our Ex Players,Sponsors & VP’s day so pop up and have a drink with the Chairman and enjoy a free buffet on the club🍻

We have three senior teams playing today including a home double-header….

1sts vs Kings Bromley 1sts 1pm🏏
2nds vs Chellaston 3rds 1.30pm🏏
3rds vs Hilton 3rds 1.30pm🏏

And before then we have All-stars from 11am🏏

A big weekend coming up including a huge double header at home tomorrow which is a great way to celebrate Ex Players,VP’s & Sponsors day👏👏👏

All off the above are welcome to join our chairman for a drink or two,there’s a free buffet on offer plus some questionable cricket to watch

It’s also a good opportunity for our ex-players to get together and reminisce about how much better they were back in the day

We can’t let Sunday pass without a few mentions👏👏👏

After a tough day at the office Saturday the club bounced back in some style….

Some remarkable lower order resistance from 13 year old Chester (36* off 85 balls) along with Jethro (7 off 58 balls) and not to mention last man Pandy (2* of 17 balls) somehow got the thirds to a losing draw after the hosts Clifton had posted 229-6…showed some fight💪💪

Our amazing Ladies softball team made it a clean sweep at the Festival hosted by Alvaston & Boulton winning all 4 of their matches🏏🏏

And finally our Development side consisting of 6 mtcc juniors under the age off 14 plus a couple of Rugby lads making their debuts (Joe with 30* and Tyler with two wickets🏉) won a great game off cricket by 1 run against a Hindu Cultural Society team👏👏👏

So much good stuff happening in and around the club🏏🏏🏏

See you all at training tonight

Our 3rds make it two in two away at Clifton as they play their 3rds,1.30pm start🕺

And a very youthful development side welcome Hindu Cultural Society at home,1pm start👏

All three Senior teams in action today💪

The 1sts travel to Etwall Cricket Club to take on their 2nds,1pm start🏏

Our 2nds look to continue their good run as they welcome Rosehill Cricket Club 2nds to Cockshut lane,1.30pm start👊

And our 3rds make the short trip to A & B to play their 4ths,this also a 1.30pm start🏏

Then tomorrow it’s the big one as our Women’s Section host their annual Softball festival from 11am👏👏👏

Also our 1sts are in T20 cup action as they play the winner of Spondon 4ths/Sawley 2nds at 4pm💪
