Welcome back, Carrie… and baby Alec 💙

At 7 weeks postpartum, Carrie is returning to gradual exercise.

Resuming physical activity after pregnancy can have many benefits for mums, including:

▪️ improved emotional wellbeing
▪️ reduced anxiety and depression
▪️ improved physical conditioning

It’s important to remember that every postpartum journey is different. Some mums feel ready to return to movement earlier, while for others it may be 7 months or even 7 years — there is no right or wrong timeline, only what feels right for you and your body.

And one of my favourite parts of welcoming back my post-pregnancy clients … baby cuddles 💙

I just want to say I am super proud of every single client who has shown up for their sessions this week.

I expected lots of cancellations, especially with the effect this weather does to our sleep … or lack of it!

Fans have been on full blast and we have adapted sessions, lightened the loads and had plenty of rest in between sets.

With our UK weather, I am sure we will be back to the heating on next week.

Vic has been with me for 4 years and I still can’t keep her away — even on her birthday 🎉

I’m really proud of my client retention. Many of my clients have been with me for 2+ years, and some have been with me since the very beginning.

All of my long-term clients have the tools and confidence to train independently, so if they continue training with me, it’s because they genuinely want to.

This cause is deeply personal to Emma, after sadly losing her husband to cancer in 2023.

✨ Make you do exercises you hate
✨ Leave you sore and in pain after every session
✨ Give you a generic plan that isn’t tailored to you
✨ Tell you to cut out or ban entire food groups
✨ Put you on a 1200-calorie diet
✨ Make you feel guilty for going “off plan”

Your training should build you up — not break you down.
