Extremely proud of our competition squad who attended our final Shindo-kai Karate Association Championships in Yorkshire yesterday.

Our competitors, including five first-timers, demonstrated outstanding skill and composure in the team, pair, and individual kata categories, before going on to deliver determined and spirited performances in the kumite events. Everyone performed exceptionally well and can be very proud of their performances.

The team’s efforts were rewarded with a fantastic total of 16 Gold πŸ₯‡, 22 Silver πŸ₯ˆ, and 19 Bronze πŸ₯‰ medals, reflecting the dedication, discipline, and teamwork of everyone involved.

A huge thankyou to our coaches Sharon Traves, Fiona Sempebwa, Paul Jarvis, and Pretty Gill, table helper Jay Gill, and officials Greg Wells, Jenny Wells, Frank Sempebwa, Anthony Sempebwa, Eva Varkonyi, Dylan Traves, Aron Traves, and Kyle Traves, whose hard work ensured the day ran smoothly.

Congratulations to all our competitors and also Dylan Traves and Aron Traves, who were awarded their Full Referee qualifications, and to Eva Varkonyi and Kyle Traves, who achieved their Judge qualifications. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
