What an amazing day we had on Thursday the 8th May at Ormskirk Golf Club, for the inaugural Mawdesley Tennis Club Golf competition!! 😃🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️⛳️

There were 16 teams of 4, battling it out to win, including some ‘nearest the pin’ competitions also.

The weather was amazing! ☀️😎. The golf course looked fantastic and everyone, from those helping out on the day to all the players had a lovely day.

Ormskirk Golf Club looked after us all really well and the food was spot on. 😋👍

Lots of money was raised for our lovely tennis club with lots being made on the raffle thanks to everyone’s generosity for purchasing raffle tickets and donating prizes.

Everyone left happy! 😃😎👍🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️

Think it could become an annual event, along with the Cricket competition 🤔👍😃

Our 1st team captain Rachael Hyland has just won her first seniors ITF masters event abroad, beating players from Poland and a former Canadian number 1 to win the Marbella over 40s ITF Masters event at the weekend.
Super proud to have Rachael leading our 1st team in the Summer league this season!

With September just around the corner, we have a new junior tennis timetable with our fantastic new coach, Guy!

Restarting on Monday 9th September, please see below for our sessions available.

If you'd like your child to start playing tennis please contact Guy on 07865 817 604 to book them onto the relevant session! 🎾

We have an amazing junior challenge to design our new logo! One lucky junior will have the chance to have their artistic talent showcased across all of our kit and website.

We will accept hand drawn designs or you can even use laptop/iPad. This is open to all juniors and the winner will be rewarded with a free t-shirt and hoodie with their winning logo on!

We have print outs of the templates in the club house, or please feel free to design completely freehand! There is a box in the clubhouse to then submit your designs or please give to a coach or email [email protected] :)

Closing date is the 1st October, time to get creative!
