This weekend we are hosting an Xplorer event in collaboration with Derwent & Dove Scouts!

It's free to attend; you just need to show up with the family, grab a map, and explore the gorgeous Tansley Wood while learning lots of fun facts as you go along.

Did you know that we are hosting an Xplorer event on Saturday 29 August 2026?

From 1-3pm we will be hosting a FREE event for all the family in Tansley Wood near to our Head Office in Matlock, with Derwent & Dove Scouts. There will be free parking* and you will have the chance to meet some of the team behind British Orienteering.👋

Just turn up, grab a map and discover lots of fun facts as you find all the special markers.🗺

🥤Refreshments will be available to purchase from the Scout campsite.
