VOLUNTEERS DAY💪

Yesterday we had a much needed Volunteers Day, with the focus this time being on the pavilion and improving the facility indoors🏡

We accomplished a lot👇

•Kitchen deep clean🧽
•Old lockers ripped out to create a bigger storage room!🤯
•Corridors cleared 😎
•All changing rooms now clean and fully functional

We even got time to paint some old Goal posts!🥅

Thanks to all the volunteers that gave up their time, this is a community safe space that requires a lot of work to up keep😩

However, we are keen to keep improving the facility and make this community asset a space that ALL can enjoy❤️

Let us know in the comments below if you would like to join us on our next Volunteers Day👇

We have worked hard alongside the organisers - Matlock Town Juniors FC to ensure this year the traffic is managed as well as it possibly can be.

As always we thank the residents of Cavendish for their co-operation!

This event helps raise money for the club to stay a float and make an impact to the community⚽️

Tournament update!!!!

Thank you for all thise teams that have entered the 2026 Festival of football. We have now closed entrances in order for us to get the event organised. All teams will recieve email regarding the event over the weekend!

LAST FRIDAY❤️

Last Friday was our grand opening event for our new kitchen thanks to Howdens and Derbyshire County FA!💥

What an evening! Ribbon cutting, councillors, football, baked goods, guest appearances and bringing the community together. This night had it all😎

It even got beautiful weather which we know is extremely rare at Cavendish!🤣

Too many people to thank to get this project over the line!

Those that have been involved and played their part know who they are and we will be forever grateful!🙏

Thanks to all that came to make it a special night, we just wish we put out more baked goods!😆

Cavendish continues to move forward💪

Next project coming soon….👀
