SIS Pitches Group is looking for a HR Administration Apprentice to join our HR team.

As a world leader in the design, construction, installation, maintenance of sports pitches, we're continuing to grow and are looking for someone eager to start their career in HR.

In this role, you'll provide administrative support to our HR team, assist with administration and help coordinate training activities across the business.

We're looking for someone who:

🟣Has good communication skills and a friendly approach
🟣 Can follow procedures and provide high-quality support

Previous administration experience is beneficial but not essential. Full training will be provided on all relevant systems, processes and procedures. You will also work towards and achieve a Level 3 Business Administration qualification as part of the role.

𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀. 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺𝘀. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝘂𝗽 ⚽

𝗦𝗜𝗦 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗦𝗦 𝗛𝘆𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱 - Our stitched hybrid reinforcement is being used at six venues - New York New Jersey, Miami, Kansas City, San Francisco, Monterrey and Toronto. Synthetic fibres are stitched into the natural grass to anchor the rootzone, delivering up to three times more playing hours than natural grass, stronger roots and faster recovery. At a tournament where pitches are played on every few days, that durability is pivotal in holding the surface together from group stage to final.

𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 - Vacuum drainage system is installed at Vancouver, Seattle and Guadalajara. It works where many conventional systems can't - over an existing artificial turf base or on a shallow profile pitch. Clearing stormwater fast while flush cycles lift oxygen levels and lower disease pressure. When a single downpour can threaten a kick-off, draining a pitch in minutes protects the match schedule. Where required, 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 can also run in reverse - delivering subsurface irrigation directly to the rootzone from below.

𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗦𝗜𝗦 𝗔𝗜𝗥 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗜𝗦 𝗔𝗤𝗨𝗔 - At Estadio Monterrey we rebuilt the pitch from formation level in a 10-week window with a 𝗦𝗜𝗦 𝗔𝗜𝗥 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗲 vacuum ventilation system, 𝗦𝗜𝗦 𝗔𝗤𝗨𝗔 irrigation, then turfed and stitched into Bermudagrass with 𝗦𝗜𝗦 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗦𝗦 𝗛𝘆𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱. Every system working together, designed for the climate of Monterrey.

Good luck to Türkiye as they head to the FIFA World Cup 2026 ⚽

Last year, our team in Türkiye rebuilt the surface at the Turkish FA's national training base, stitching with SIS GRASS Hybrid. The pitches were built to match the playing surfaces of the World Cup, giving the national team the chance to prepare on pitches as close as possible to those at the tournament.

Before leaving camp the Turkish national team took a moment on that very surface alongside our Eastern Europe team, who maintain it daily. The same pitch they have trained on to prepare for the World Cup.

From training grounds to stadiums, this is what specialist knowledge, local delivery, and proven pitch technology look like in practice.

Our World Cup journey began in 2006, when we constructed the pitch at Gelsenkirchen for the FIFA World Cup in Germany.

By 2018, we were involved at 6 tournament stadiums, including the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, where SIS GRASS Hybrid became the first hybrid playing surface used for a FIFA World Cup Final. Four years later, our technologies supported 6 of the 8 FIFA World Cup stadiums in Qatar.

For 2026, our involvement extends across the USA, Canada and Mexico. From a full pitch construction and hybrid grass reinforcement systems, to subsurface technologies like DrainTalent, or SIS AIR Core that improves rootzone aeration, with both systems allowing vacuum drainage to help protect match schedules.

Every tournament presents different climates, challenges and expectations. The experience gained over the last two decades has helped shape the technologies being used today.

Supporting Georgia's Rugby World Cup Journey 🏉

As preparations accelerate for the Rugby Under-20 World Cup in June 2026, our team on the ground in Georgia continues to deliver. Works are progressing as the nation readies itself to host one of rugby's most exciting tournaments on the world stage.

Our presence in Georgia goes back to 2022, when we established a dedicated local office and team to serve the growing demand for sports infrastructure across the region. Since then, our team have delivered natural and hybrid grass surfaces across stadiums, training grounds, municipal facilities and major tournaments, including the ECPR Rugby Championship and the UEFA Under-21 European Championships.

This Rugby World Cup is another landmark moment, and we are honoured to play our part in delivering surfaces that will perform at the highest level throughout the tournament. Our team are responsible for the returf and hybrid stitching of five pitches for the tournament.

We would like to thank the Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, Director Giorgi Shonia and Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze for their time during our recent progress meeting and their trust in SIS Pitches to deliver for such an important project.

2026 FIFA World Cup ⏳

Across the last two World Cups, SIS Pitches contributed to more than 50 pitches - from tournament stadiums to the training grounds where players prepared for the world stage. We've supported projects across a range of phases, including design, construction, installation and maintenance.

This year we're contributing once again. Our teams have been working hard and are currently on the ground in the USA, Canada and Mexico, providing our field technology ahead of the tournament this summer.

It's been a pleasure working alongside dedicated groundskeeping teams - tackling challenging conditions and schedules in complex multi-use venues, all while keeping the highest standards for the world stage.

As the football season comes to a close across Europe, our team is in full flow of renovation season.

Our Eastern Europe team currently maintains 1,010,790 m² of turf across stadiums, training grounds and our very own turf farms - responsible for the maintenance of many top flight stadiums across Türkiye.

Right now, we are starting renovating 644,790 m² of natural, stitched and carpet hybrid grass pitches, all delivered in-house to the same high standards. This is made possible thanks to our expert maintenance team all following the same proven processes.

Field Tech Live at MetLife Stadium 🏟️

Last week we brought industry professionals together at MetLife Stadium to see the hybrid grass installation ahead of the World Cup Final, offering a behind-the-scenes look at preparations for one of the world’s biggest sporting events.

Alongside the live hybrid grass demonstration, guests took part in an insightful panel discussion with leading sports surface experts, alongside wider conversations throughout the day on the future of elite playing surfaces and performance standards.
