Trafford 10K 🏃🏼💨

Adam was out of the county last weekend taking on the Trafford 10K, organised by Run North West.

The one-lap course is perfect for fast times, running along scenic country roads with the race starting and finishing in Partington, just outside Manchester. The route heads out towards Dunham Massey before looping back to Partington — definitely a course with PB potential early in the year.

The goal on the day was to break 34 minutes, but unfortunately it wasn’t to be this time.

34:31 on the clock in a very strong field, with the winner crossing the line in 28:50 and more than 10 runners going sub-30 😳

A solid early-season run though…

On to the next one 💪🏃‍♂️

New Year Shred – Week 6 ✅

Half term week… and we all know what that can mean 👀
Routines out the window, structure disrupted, and temptation everywhere!

But not this group 💪🔥

Despite the chaos, they stuck to the plan and still delivered some cracking results!

A lot of the team set themselves personal challenges this week — from hitting specific running or walking mileage targets to tightening up daily habits. Setting those mini-goals made all the difference and kept motivation high 🙌

Huge congratulations to .nicholls who asked Lindsey for something a bit more structured to help improve her 10K PB. She trusted the process, followed the plan, and absolutely smashed her sessions this week with some quality runs 👏🔥

started the couch to 5k! A great challenge for someone who’s never been a runner!

upped her miles this week! And is slowly starting to bring that comfortable mile/min pace down 💪

Consistency always wins — even during half term!

Was an absolute pleasure to be part of pre-season once again this year! 💪

The lads showed up in great numbers every week — 35–40 consistently putting in the work and grafting hard for a solid 60 minutes each session.

Successful seasons are built on strong preparation, so hopefully this has laid the perfect foundation for what’s ahead.

Sunday Race Day 🏁

Great to see some of the gang out wearing race numbers last weekend 🙌

First up, our own Adam, who grabbed a late entry for the North Lakes 10K with .
First time tackling the course and he came home 1st place 🥇 — unreal effort 👏🔥

Next up, Ellen, who took on another half marathon at the Llanelli Tata Steel Half Marathon.
Despite overheating and battling some asthma issues, she still finished just 13 seconds slower than her previous event — proof that the hard work is paying off 💪

A PB is so close… it’s only a matter of time ⏱️🔥
