This weekend our U14s enter Phase 2 of the season in the Premier Division.

It's been a fantastic first half of the year for this group, improving every game and finishing in the top half of a tough competition💪

After a good couple of cup games 🏆, they welcome the return of league rugby and the chance to test themselves week after week against strong opposition. 💪💪

The lads are hoping to bounce back from a tough game last week against a good Aspatria side.

Last Sunday Maryport u16s took on Ashton Bears. With previous meetings last season resulting in very close games this match wasn’t going to disappoint.

Captain Harrison got us off to a great start putting Maryport on the score board in the first half with fullback Theo converting to make it 6-0 at the half time whistle.

The second half was always going to prove harder for the Bears traveling with small numbers leaving Maryport to dominate the game. With two tries from Olly, a further try from Harrison and Fullback Theo crashing over again and converting 3 from 4 making the Full time score 28-0

A great effort from the full squad both in attack and defence. Loose forward Lucas coming away with oppositions man of the match.

Now onto our next match this Sunday 24th where we play Distington at home in the cup. After a recent defeat away to the Dis boys this should be a game not to miss. Come down and show your support for the boys 💙💛

Maryport U16s look to dust themselves off from last weekends defeat against local rivals Distington when they host Ashton Bears on Sunday.
