After a fantastic weekend last week for the lads, they return to league action this week taking on Lowca at home.

The lads are looking to build on the result they got against Sun Inn.

Fantastic day yesterday as we played our annual charity game for Judd❤️

The game was played in warm conditions and really good spirits. Hats off to the old lads who were the better team for most of the game but young ones still came out winners on penalties🥇

All the money that was raised yesterday will be getting donated to our chosen charity, Smile for Miley.
The amount being donated this year is £910.23. Which is a fantastic effort from everybody involved❤️

FCB 2 - 2 Sun Inn Fc

The lads went into the game looking for their first points of the season. After a scrappy start to the game, Sun Inn scored 10 minutes into the game with a 30 yard strike. Heading into the half time break 1-0 down again. A few changes at half time and the boys started the second half the better team piling on the pressure. After a decent spell, Cam Carter stuck one in the top corner getting the lads level. The lads pushed and pushed to get a winner when Sun Inn caught us on the counter attack, putting themselves ahead going into the last 15 minutes of the game. Butchers found themselves looking for an equaliser for the second time in the game. Lewis Mattinson grabbed us an equaliser with 10 minutes left on the clock. Butchers continued to push for the winner but unfortunately yet again, it wouldn’t fall for us😢

No league game this weekend as we take part in The Judd cup, our annual charity game. Netherhall rugby union club 2pm kick off. All money raised this year will be donated to Smile for Miley.

After the match, there will be entertainment on in the butchers arms. Starting around 4:30pm

⚽️⚽️Back in action⚽️⚽️

Last Thursdays game ended in defeat for the lads, beaten 2-1. Slow first half for the lads seen us 1-0 down going into the half time break. Half way through the second half, Dearham scored another going 2-0. The lads kept battling and nicked one back. Dearham went down to 10 men after a red card and the lads piled the pressure on but it just wouldn’t drop for us.

Tomorrow, the lads are hoping to get their first result of the season as we take on Sun Inn at home. Always a tight game between the two teams

FT: FCB 1 - 2 Deer orchard

After a slow start from the boys, they found themselves 1-0 after 10 minutes. The lads got themselves back into the game with Lewis mattinson neatly finishing off a chance on the 30 minute mark.
1-1 after half time and the game could of went either way with both sides creating chances but unfortunately for butchers, it was deer orchard who took a chance around the 55th minute. Butchers kept pushing but unfortunately it didn’t happen for us on the night.

FT. Kings Arms 2-6 FCB

Despite going down to 10 men early on we cap off the season in style with a 6-2 win away at St Bees

Young goats Burnsy n Lavvy were on smoke & too much for Kings Arms to handle

Lewis obviously got one as well as he always does lately
