A great display of karate yesterday from all involved. Congratulations to all those who were promoted in rank, you all smashed it.👊 In particular all those promoted to 1st Dan black belt:

Not only was today the culmination of many, many years of hard work and dedication for each individual, but also a first for the club in that we have never awarded so many black belts in one grading. Also special congratulations to SENSEI Louise Evans on her promotion to 3rd dan, after over 20 years of training, dedication, and commitment. Also, massive congrats to all of the students who attended and gave it their all, who came along today already knowing that their kata wasn't quite up to scratch, but came in with fighting spirit to demonstrate their strengths in other areas. All did great and will be rewarded with a rank upgrade in the club as soon as weak areas are ironed out. I always say, the club is only as good as its students, and you lot are the best 👍🏻👍🏻 Each and every one of you makes the club what it is. Thank you for your dedication. I am looking forward to seeing a whole front line of black belts in the dojo this week, just like the old days . The legacy of the late Shihan John Smith, Bujinkai Karate still going strong 👊🥋👊🥋
