I’ve had a busy few months working away, busy working with my current guys and been very quiet on here .

But nonetheless they are all smashing it.

Here are 2 little messages from 2 very special clients that have worked with me for long periods of time in the past and recently jumped back in.

I’ve known for many years and she has always worked incredibly hard, recently reached out because she wanted to get stronger and prep for a pairs CrossFit competition.

She has been putting in the work alongside her very busy life and has been repping the benefits and her confidence has increased as well.

and I have worked together for a combined time of maybe 3+ years, she reached out after her first born and I was (still am) incredibly honored that she trusted me to help her get her strength back and even stronger.

Since then she had a short little break to give birth to a beautiful baby and she got straight in (after she recovered and felt ready post partum) and she has been getting stronger and stronger every week.

I feel honored when people trust me to help them achieve their goals and help them feel better, messages like the two above makes it all worthwhile.

Natalie came to me because she wanted to prepare for a pairs Hyrox.

She just came out of a strength focused program snd wanted to be prepped and ready to go for Hyrox.

We didn’t give up on strength work and made sure to implement those smartly around her more conditioning focused sessions.

Sessions didn’t take longer than an hour and managed to stay strong and get fitter to the point that she had an amazing time at Hyrox and signed up the following week to her first solo Hyrox in February.

Natalie grafted and put in the work every single week and she reaped the benefits.

Challenge is what makes us grow

Since getting back into tennis, a serious set of challenges come up.

From having to find my timing and rhythm to the constant challenge of having to make hundreds if not thousands of decisions when playing matches against someone that wants to beat you.

What I’m getting at is that through prolonged periods of time inside the gym, sometimes you gotta find creative or different ways to challenge yourself.

Could be as simple as doing a sport you haven’t done ij a while to taking on a new hobby that you have been wanting to sign up.

As cliche as the following quote is “Fail to plan, You are preparing to fail” its a pretty solid one.

If you dont have a plan in place whether thats:
Actionable steps
A program that helps you achieve your goals
Habits.

Then you are more likely to fail than to those that have a plan in place.

Through programming a plan is set to all my clients so they can succeed and achieve the goals we set out to achieve from the beginning.

Having a plan allows you to look back at whats worked, change if necessary and build on top of it to keep the momentum and the consistency of it.

One of my goals this year is to read 📕🤓

I’ve never been a big reader but ever since I became a coach I found myself reading more and actually enjoying it.

I usually read to learn something new or to expand my knowledge in a topic I may already be familiar with.

But I’ve not really read anything in like 18 months, so as I do more coaching and slowly rebuild Outline Performance I’ve actually been feeling like reading again.

Question for you is. What are you reading at the moment?

Training can (should) be enjoyable (most of the time)

Yes training can be tough and not good fun, but I would say that if we aim to enjoy our training most of the time then we can be more consistent.

Training should be tough in order to progress and grow as humans but also if its always a chore and always feels like every session is s**t and you are not enjoying it then you will quickly stop doing.

Aim to enjoy your training most of the time to be able to stick to it and get results in the long run.

Programming and building out cycles is one of the part of coaching I love the most.

I feel the most creative when doing so.

Today I had a conversation with a very special client (Rachel) and we have worked together for about 3 years with a few months off in between pregnancies and postpartum recovery.

Working with someone that you have known for a few years presents certain challenges but through conversations, hilarious workout summaries and feedback on workouts I can grow as a coach and help her achieve her goals of getting back to where she was pre pregnancy and surpass it.

2024 is going to be fun

What’s up everyone, as most of you know coaching was my full time job for a long time but that has taken a step back over the last 18months and its something that I’m still incredibly passionate about.

I’ve lost some of those skills that require practice and consistency, so I’m looking for a 2-3 people looking for some free coaching and training program for the next 2 months in exchange for some feedback on the service.

I’m still about and helping people achieve their goals 🙌🏽

Definitely not at the scale it once was but still very passionate about coaching.

Its been hard to figure out how I want to build this again and thankfully I’ve had some great advice from friends in the industry.

The process will be slow and have to make sure I true expectations from myself and the business when also having a full time job (that i love).

I won’t say I’M BACK as every time I’ve said I have not posted anything but you will see more of myself still sharing my knowledge, thoughts and current training.
