After 8 hrs of fishing and trying almost every fly in the box Rory caught this monster at Farmoor yesterday. A few of the boats caught fish but the bank was very slow, which was strange because there were swams of buzzers. Rory kept going and was rewarded.

I found one of these blue flash flies in a tree, so I tried it! This pattern has outfished most of my other flies, even in the winter and coloured water. It was fished by my good friend John Cave 3 weeks back and took 2 fish in 2 cast's
