🍀 Good Luck to Our Marlborough Athletics Athletes! 🍀

After earning qualification through the Wiltshire Schools Track & Field Championships, a number of our athletes will now be representing Wiltshire at the South West Schools Track & Field Championships in Exeter tomorrow.

This is a fantastic achievement and a reward for the hard work, dedication and commitment they have shown throughout the season.

We are incredibly proud of them all and wish them the very best of luck as they compete against some of the region’s top young athletes.

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ A busy and successful weekend for Marlborough Athletics!

It’s been a fantastic weekend of athletics, with our athletes competing across both the County Championships and the Wessex League in Wi******er.

We’ve seen some excellent performances, personal bests, podium finishes, and strong displays of determination from athletes representing their schools and the club across a range of events.

With so many Marlborough athletes in action, it’s certainly been a busy weekend, and we’re incredibly proud of everyone who competed and gave their best.

Many congratulations to all who went to Swindon on Friday night & Saturday for the County Championships - really superb results. Results are on Roster & have been sent to Pof10 & the county FB pages etc. Link here

This is less about the lack of pics and more about the quality of the performances. With our annual visit to Yate depleted in number by the Easter holidays, the 4 that did compete more than made up for our lack of athletes. kicked us off with a 400m season opener just outside of his PB. .sijohnson then PB'd in his 100m with Evie P also taking almost half a second of last week's visit to Basingstoke. To finish, all 4 athletes PB'd in the 200m (, .thompson24, .sijohnson and Evie)(Evie's was 2.1m/s wind) with Kofi breaking a 16 year old under 20s club record with a wind legal 23.03s. I'm absolutely buzzing to see what the forthcoming season brings for this group. A huge thank you to all involved at Yate for another great meet. 🙏
