🎯 WHAT A FINISH! 🎯
What a fantastic practice session tonight, with some seriously close matches! 👏
The club has recently joined a league to get back into competitive bowls, so tonight we put the teams that will play in the 1st match against each other.
And what a match it turned out to be! 🔥
The scores were 7–7 going into the final end, so it all came down to the last few bowls…
Glenn and Mark got things started and bowled well, with Glenn initially holding shot. Then Amanda and Bob took over.
Bob dropped one short, while Amanda placed a fantastic bowl just behind the jack. Bob’s next bowl was very close, but Amanda followed up and took the shot back.
The head was getting tighter and tighter, with shot changing hands almost every bowl! 😮
So… no pressure then! Skips, time to do your stuff! 😆
Paul bowled and got close to the jack, but not quite enough to take the shot. Charlotte followed and put another bowl right into the mix.
There didn't seem to be much room left!

Now it was all down to Charlotte. Whoever took the shot would win the match!
And Charlotte delivered! 💪 A perfectly timed bowl, spot on with the weight and accuracy, stealing the win right at the end! 🏆

It really doesn’t get much closer than that. What a brilliant match and a fantastic finish!
