Andrew has put himself forward to start the Saturday team up again. Hopefully Andrew can get the support and players to get a team together to play next season in the East Lincs Combination League

Caistor Tennyson Sunday team had their first league match of the season away to Theddo Lions.
Caistor had the better of the first half with Theddo only having a couple of chances due to Tennyson back four playing outstanding. Caistor scored after 13 minutes with Josh Flower finding the back of the net with a well taken side foot shot. The match should have been finished before half time with Londy missing at least 5 good chances and the Theddo goalkeeper pulled two world class saves to deny Josh. The 2nd half was more of an even match with Theddo having more of the ball and a few half chances. But Caistor still kept pushing forward with Londy again and Hayden going close to scoring. After some poor play, passing out of defense Theddo scored. Going into the last couple of minutes of the match Tennyson broke forward and Joseph Reece put the ball into the bottom corner of the net for a well deserved 2-1 win for Caistor Tennyson.
Brilliant performance with everyone given 100% for the team.
Man of the matches was Josh Flower and Lewis Drake.
Great start to the Sunday season.

On Friday evening Caistor Tennyson played Ludford Rovers for the Evelyn I Learn trophy in the memory of Evelyn Rose.
After 90 minutes the match ended 2-2 with Ludford going on to win on penalties and lift the trophy. Money raised on the evening was for a charity of Evelyn mum's choice which is PACT.
(PACT supports families of children fighting cancer in hospital)
Well done to all players and coaches of Caistor Tennyson, Ludford Rovers and spectators who raised £405!
