As you will be aware, all schools closed on Friday until further notice and so School Letting Solutions have rightly cancelled hiring facilities. So, sadly we are having to close the club until further notice. They are talking of schools not opening again till the end of summer. We will be back as soon as it is possible and safe to do so. When we do it will be an amazing session and we will have to all celebrate afterwards in the pub! We will email you when we are on the other side of this sad situation.

Meanwhile, keep your loved ones and yourselves safe, look out for those who need help and only buy what you need. We will get through this if we all pull together.

COVID-19
We are closely monitoring the Covid-19 virus situation and will update you via the WhatsApp Group as soon as we can as the situation is changing rapidly.

At present School Letting Solutions state the facility is open and bookings will continue as normal. As badminton is a non-contact sport and the numbers involved are small, the risk is low. However, we do need to be careful, so apart from washing hands correctly before you play and when you leave, it is best to give a thumbs up after a game instead of the customary handshake and avoid physical contact. After setting up the courts please wash your hands and avoid touching your face.

Any members in the at risk group (suffer from asthma, low immune system, etc), have family at home in the at risk group, have been in recent contact with someone showing signs of the virus or if you have the symptoms, please be safe and stay at home. Attending the club has to be your own personal decision but we want you to all be safe.

As the situation is rapidly changing please check WhatsApp in the first instance and Facebook for the latest update.
