⚽️ World Cup Fever Flow ⚽️ all this week focuses on the legs and lower body…
Yoga brings many benefits to the professional and amateur footballers (soccer players for my American friends!) amongst us including:
✔️ increased flexibility (and reduced risk of injury to joints!)
✔️ improved focus and concentration (for 90+ mins with these designated hydration breaks!!!)
✔️ increased strength in the legs and core muscles
✔️ improved balance and proprioception (leading to both body and wider match awareness)
✔️ reduced stress (after that long match, the many kms run, the twists and turns not to mention adrenaline of goals and saves!) put on that calming music, gently move and breathe ✨
