So until we are directed further by the government look after yourselves and GYM ON

Shows you don’t need much equipment to still carry out a huge range of exercises 👌🏻
Had a wee friend with me today! Working out with someone else always helps, you motivate each other!
Today we did:
• clean and press
•rows
•shoulder press
•RDL’s
•bicep curls
•plank touches
7 rounds 👌🏻

The last two weeks I’ve been doing circuits and trying to build up my friendship with the stairmaster. 😳
I’ve kinda got bored of heavy weight workouts at the minute so I’ve been concentrating on conditioning and sending that heart rate through the roof 🥵

Today’s circuit was tough!! Leg based.
7 rounds 😳
30 seconds on 10 seconds off. 30 secs rest inbetween each round.

• body weight box squats
• kettlebell glute bridges
• dumbbell narrow stance elevated squats
• Bar RDL’s
• sumo squats
•lunges

Annie getting to grips with the seated row 💪🏼 Improving Annie’s upper strength is at the top of her list 👌🏻 The assisted seated row is great for improving your posture and form. Learning to engage your abs and use your legs while keeping your back straight can help prevent strain and injury.

A great way to get the correct form and isolate the muscles you want to work.

Christine learning a new compound movement with the hex bar squat ( or the trap bar) 💪🏼

The hex bar allows you to do deadlifts and squats, exercises you may not be able to do otherwise, due to different injuries.

Benefits of a hex bar squat;
* less stress on the back,
* reduced spinal compression,
* better form by maintaining a straight back throughout the exercise
* may reduce the risk of injury.

Because hex bar squats use the same motion as standard barbell squats, they activate the same muscle groups.
The hex bar’s design forces you to step inside it rather than behind it reducing sheer force on the spine.

The hex bar allows you to lift more weight, over a greater distance, faster.

Build up the weight increase the power 💪🏼

Mountain climbers
Box squats
Clean and press
Slam ball
Battle rope
30 secs each exercise
5 rounds thanks to Rhiannon 😉💪🏼 🥵
Rest after each round 🤪
