Hockey for people of all ages and abilities Hello and welcome! We are a friendly and successful hockey club based at Robert Smyth Academy in Market Harborough.

We have five senior teams playing regular Saturday League matches, three men's teams and two women's teams playing in the Midlands Area Adult Leagues. We also have a Mixed team and a Men's O35s team playing in the England Hockey Championships. Our juniors play in Sunday age-group junior tournaments (boys and girls U16, U14 and U12). During the season we train every week at Robert Smyth Academy:

•

Men (ages 13+) – Tuesday, 19:30–21:00
• Women (ages 13+) – Wednesday, 19:30–21:00
• U8 to U14 Juniors – Wednesday, 17:30–19:00

We also run additional Goalkeeper training sessions on alternative Wednesdays. New players are alway welcome to come along and join in, please feel free to turn up to one of our training sessions or contact us for further details. See our website for more details.

📣 MHHC Annual General Meeting 2026 📣

📅 Thursday 11 June 2026 at 7.30pm

The link to access the online meeting will be sent to registered individuals before the AGM. The AGM is expected to take between 30 minutes and an hour, please spare some time to support your club.

Officers, Committee members, and Team Captains, will be elected for next year. If you would like to get involved with the running of MHHC now is the time to join the team.

➡️ Check your emails, or Teamo, and register your attendance for the meeting via the link.

➡️ A meeting link to join the online AGM will be emailed to all those registered to attend.

➡️ If you can't attend and wish to vote by proxy, you must inform the Secretary in advance of the meeting.

➡️ Nominees to be sent to the Secretary by email in advance of the AGM.

There are a number of vacant positions in need of volunteers. If you would like to volunteer in any way please get in touch.

Last week the Bowden Bears were crowned the winners of the MHHC Intraclub Mixed Sumer League 2026! 😎🏑😎🏑😎🏑

Each team was made up of a mix of players from across the club creating the perfect social mixed hockey 7-a-side matches for those warmer spring evenings!

🎉 MHHC End-of-Season Celebration 2026! 🎉

A couple of weeks ago, on a glorious sunny April evening at Market Harborough Golf Club, we celebrated the end of the 2025/26 season!🥳🏑🏆

Delicious dinner, annual awards, and much merriment and dancing! 🍽️🏆💃🥳

Some of the award winners were not able to attend the party, but we caught up with them at the weekly summer intraclub matches. Congratulations to all winners!🏆🏆🏆
