My tap shoes have had a little glow-up and I am absolutely obsessed! 💎✨

Because if you’re going to shuffle, flap and cramp roll your way across the floor, you might as well do it with a bit of sparkle! 😍

Now the only challenge is trying not to spend the whole class staring at my feet instead of remembering the routine… 😂

What an amazing first week of our Jet Set Broadway month! 🌎✨

A huge well done to all of these fabulous ladies who threw themselves into the choreography and absolutely embraced the theme from the moment they stepped into the studio. From first-class smiles to cabin crew sass, everyone looked and danced the part! 💃

A little behind-the-scenes secret… I asked ChatGPT to help me design these vintage-inspired air hostess uniforms to match my handmade hats, and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out! 🩵✈️ The costumes, the music, the energy, and most importantly, the wonderful people in the room made it such a fun evening.

If Week 1 is anything to go by, we’re in for a fantastic journey as we continue dancing to Jet Set from Catch Me If You Can.

Happy International Tap Dance Day! ✨👞

Today we’re celebrating with the one and only Shim Sham Shimmy — known as the national dance of tap dancers! ❤️

I loved seeing both my Junior Tappers and Adult Tap class coming together through this iconic routine. From tiny shuffles to confident time steps, there’s something so special about everyone dancing the same choreography that has connected tap dancers across generations for years. 🎶

Tap dancing brings so much joy, rhythm, energy and friendship into our lives — and I feel so lucky to share it every single week with such wonderful dancers.

Here’s to keeping the sounds of tap alive… one shuffle ball change at a time! 👞✨

✨ Last night we completed our Bollywood-inspired Broadway routine to Hindu Sad Diamonds from ✨Moulin Rouge✨ and what a vibe it was!

Jangly hip scarves, flowing veils, dramatic poses and so many smiles 💃🏼🪭✨

One of the things I love most about Broadway class is that every few weeks we get to completely step into a new world and character — and this one felt glamorous, powerful and just a little bit magical ❤️

So proud of this lovely bunch for throwing themselves into every shimmy, turn and sparkle-filled moment!

What a lovely way to start the morning… my brand new Roxy tap shoes arrived AND my new tap shoe repair kit from ! 🤩👞✨

I honestly get far too excited over tap shoes… but there’s just something about fresh taps, shiny plates and that first crisp sound on the floor 😍🎶

The Roxys are absolutely gorgeous and I cannot wait to properly break them in at class this week! Plus how amazing is this little repair kit? Everything a tap addict could possibly need 😂🩷

Now excuse me while I spend the rest of the day randomly tapping around the house making unnecessary noise 🙈🤣

How fabulous does Alison look in her brand new snazzy tap shoes?! 👞💫

Alison is one of my most committed dancers — always turning up with energy, determination, and the biggest smile. She throws herself into every class, works so hard, and is such a wonderful part of our dance family. Watching her confidence and style grow has been an absolute joy!

And as if that wasn’t enough, Alison also runs her own fantastic Pilates classes in Market Harborough, helping others build strength, balance, and confidence too. Her passion for movement shines through in everything she does, both in the studio and beyond.

We’re all a little bit obsessed with these gorgeous new tap shoes… and I think it’s safe to say Alison is ready to shuffle, stamp, and shine in style! ✨🖤
