Congratulations to our club comps winners this year who received their trophies at our AGM on Thursday! Our president Tony Burke also presented a cheque to Leicestershire and Rutland Hope Against Cancer who have been his chosen charity for this year.

On Monday we hosted the Chairman of Harborough council Peter James and assorted guests for a fun event to raise money for his chosen Chairman's Charity 'Smile Train' which funds lifesaving treatment for children born with a cleft palate.

Another (slightly belated) trophy celebration! Congratulations to our Harborough League B Team on winning the Sam Springer Cup 🏆.

Match report as follows:

"Our Harborough League B team achieved a notable success when winning the Sam Springer Cup. The team was originally entered into the league to make up the numbers but, bolstered by the new influx of members into the club, the results improved throughout the season. Despite having defeated the league champions in the semi-final of the cup a tougher challenge was expected from Kibworth in the final. As it turned out our team of 3 “new and inexperienced “ bowlers, bolstered by 3 established members eased their way to a comfortable victory. Well done to Barry Peck, Graham Hibberd and David Hutchings, all of whom played outstandingly well to help earn the trophy for Little Bowden."
