Meet Coach Dylan!!

We are absolutely ecstatic to have yet another great coach join the team at MTHD.

We have asked Dylan to introduce himself:

I have been playing sports for the last 18 years including football, rugby, cricket and American football. I started training in the gym around 8 years ago with the last 3.5 being crossfit/ functional fitness!

Since starting crossfit, Weightlifting has always been a highlight for me and something I really enjoyed! I did my British Weightlifting Qualifications and became a level 2 BWL coach as well as passing an amazing Birdbox Coaching Development Course. I am also a massive Weightlifting nerd and spent countless hours watching and studying the best weightlifters and the principles of the best countries from around the world!

I love to coach Weightlifting and I can’t wait to get started!

Four teams from MTHD competed on Saturday at The Forte Fitness Series, which we had the privalege of hosting at our gym.

It was great to see both the girls and guys competing, some of which, was there first time!

Special mention goes to the “Ladies who Lunge” who took a place on the Podium, finishing third, followed by “MTHD in the Madness” with an extremely close fourth!
Such a buzz being able to host a competition for Forte - thank you for choosing us!

Well done to our wonderful judges Lauren and Anya for all your hard work too!

The primary focus will be on Kipping Pull-ups. All abilities are encouraged to attend - please do not be put off if you can’t perform kipping pull-ups.

We are our Tuesday 7pm class to get ready for training. This class is open to everyone, but will be solely focused on the Hyrox movements. This is the third time that DNA has entered Hyrox and we want this to be our best one yet. We have some members & others taking part as individuals, in a pair or as a team. ! If you want to join us, please speak to myself (Dom) or Nicole. Remember, you don’t have to sign up to Hyrox to come to these sessions!
