Over the next few Mondays I will be focusing on NewSkins 8 core values as a way for you to better understand my approach.
I know from experience and research that health isn’t spilt into separate entities and cannot be healed separately either. What affects the body affects the mind affects the spirit. Therefore, a holistic approach to health has the potential bring a better sense of wellbeing and nourishment.
With this in mind, all sessions, whether Pilates, barre fitness, private fitness session or mentoring come from a place of working to nourish your mental and physical health together to help develop a body you feel comfortable to live in. Because when you think about it, the only entities that stay with you from birth to death is your mind, your spirit and your body, so you owe it to yourself (and your creator) to look after it.
Starting by finding a form of exercise that you enjoy, because if you don’t enjoy it, you won’t stick to it. Particularly when it starts to get challenging!
