N O V E M B E R

What a month! A month I never like. A month I like to find a challenge! So this years was Hyrox Manchester!! Absolutely epic although anxiety and worry got the better of me and I did suffer with a migraine the day before which then crept back in on the way round the course- I’m not saying it hindered my performance but it certainly wasn’t there to help it!!

Then whisked off the Bakewell as a treat from my mum for me and my sisters. A gorgeous place we felt like we were in the Holiday movie it just needed snow!

Then off to London to celebrate everyone at Pine Lodge Cars for being shortlisted in 4 awards! Incredible and a lovely few hours walking around the sights!

Then off for a twilight spa which is a tradition with my mum and sisters on a particularly difficult day!

Then back to London for another awards night for Pine Lodge!! This one wrote me off!

Home to do the tree and now welcoming in December … I’m shattered !! (Final pic for a sum up)

I feel like a roly poly pudding !! I need to get back to the gym 😂🥴🥴

Popular demand for this one!!! After the success of my last Accountability group we are going again …

☀️ The six weeks of summer challenge!☀️
⛱️ Starting 29th July ⛱️

This is NOT a 6 week ‘summer shred’ this is NOT a ‘transform in 6 week’s’ challenge.. this is a chance to be part of a group who all want to be held accountable for the next 6 weeks. To learn how to live a life of balance, to understand better food choices to push yourself to do that little bit more that you know you can do .. you just don’t have the drive to do it.

So for the next 6 weeks we can do this together. We can share our wins we can see the challenges as manageable and able to do around our busy schedules so no crazy demands when it comes to training!!

All I ask is for the next 6 weeks you participate, you share and join in and you really do give it your best to make small changes and see what happens!!

All my current clients you can join in with this absolutely free as long as your still coming to your PT sessions and anyone else there’s a charge of only £25!

Ok so who needs a bit of motivation?! (Me!!)

BIG NEWS!!! Well I think it’s pretty big news! I absolutely LOVE what I do, being in the gym, training, watching people get stronger, fitter and seeing them achieve their goals - it really is my passion - I mean some days I join in with pretty much every client I have because I like it to be fun that’s how much I love training! But for a while iv wanted to be able to offer more, sure the 1-1 sessions are the best and combined with the online platform where my clients get me on their case all week what more can I do, what else can I bring to the table?

After speaking to so many of my lovely clients and the feedback Iv had Iv decided to enrol and train up to become a Pilates Instructor! I’m so excited to be able to bring to my gym what I hope will be a selection of training styles that will suit so many of us, be it 1-1 gym sessions or 1-1 Pilates sessions or combined fitness Pilates- not to mention the prospect of classes in the not to distant future!

So a lot of work for me to get through now to be the very best I can be and I’m really hopeful that some new styles and new classes will go down a treat!!

International woman’s day! So many photos I’d love to pick, of friends, people I work with people who I talk to every single day - but I’d worry too much that I had left someone out and we all know I like to over worry! So here’s me and my girls (Annie’s face is priceless and makes me laugh) and me and my family, my foundation in life.

I have the privilege of working with so many incredible ladies. Each and every one of you who walks through my doors, or who comes to my class at nexus - i am so so grateful. The effort and determination inspires me always 💪🏻💪🏻

Women are amazing, resilient and above all we love each other. Here’s to us ladies, for the ups and downs and for always having each others back no matter what 🥰 we are pretty awesome (pretty tired most of the time but always awesome) xx

REMEMBER…. You have 365 days ahead of you for change, growth & making memories. You don’t need to spoil January by thinking you need to do a super restrictive 6 week diet!! You don’t need to transform yourself in 6 weeks don’t be fooled!

January is bloody tough enough without taking away the small bits of enjoyment from some food you like! All you need is balance!

I’m all for goal setting, setting myself some challenges but Iv learnt from so many Januarys that setting myself small changes lead to longer consistency. Health shouldn’t be a New Year’s resolution - it should be a priority. Small goals into becoming healthier are way better than what you look like in 6 weeks.

Let’s Change the narrative, let’s be kind to ourselves in January, let’s learn how we can live in a balance where we can enjoy all the good things and let’s just see where that mind shift takes you …

🌸 Pretty flowers with my beautiful Annie 🌸

Why am I posting about flowers? Well one of the main reasons we give up on our fitness journeys is results - we start so well! We eat all the right things we move more, we get to the gym we drink a tonne of water and 2 weeks down the line we look in the mirror to see that all our hard work has resulted in - minimal changes!

Surely we should have a rocking body we even turned down wine this week!!

Well.. Back to my flowers, you don’t plant seeds and then dig them up every week to see how they are progressing do you. No! You trust the process, you know your little seed will grow into a beautiful flower come spring. You know it won’t happen over night and you let it be. Same goes with this you can’t expect to see dramatic changes in short spaces of time. We all wish there was an easy way but in order to be healthy and strong, that is where you need to trust the process. Nurture yourself from the inside, nourish your body with all of the things it needs, train with a purpose to feel stronger.

You will grow, you will change - you might not see it but trust the process, give yourself time - proper time to commit to yourself and just think if you start now where could you be come spring time !!

Words I hear quite often and the truth is - I’m not! Im not motivated at all! It wasn’t till someone in a group im in shared a tick-tock recently that made me see I’m not motivated, I’m disciplined! Huge difference!!

I definitely didn’t want to train today 1 - it was leg day for me 🤢 and 2 - well ladies you understand, I’m bloated, tired and generally feeling crappy (cheers Mother Nature) but did I still get to the gym … yes

I may have chuntered to myself the whole way there how I’ll only do a bit because I really can’t be bothered but I went and once I was there I did the exact same as I would do on any other day, I got it done, not because I was motivated but because im just disciplined now and I hadn’t really noticed!

Call is discipline, call it habit call it whatever but it’s most definitely not always motivation!! Motivation gets you started, like a holiday coming up or an event and you’re motivated to do something but what happens when that runs out because IT WILL!!! Remember just because you’re not motivated doesn’t mean you’re failing!! Keep showing up when there’s zero there to motivate you and THATS when you see results, accept that it takes time, accept you won’t always want to do it but show up anyway and keep showing up, you will thank yourself for it I promise x

It's a busy kind of day at the studio today!

Coach Sarah and I have kickstarted the day with an early meeting to discuss our new classes and services... coming over the next few months! There's so much to look forward to and I can't wait to share it with you!
