Racing will always give you the highs and lows in equal measure, and over the past few weeks we’ve lived both. After the MX2 overall win at Landrake and two points‑scoring rides on the world stage in Germany, both the team and Ben Mustoe arrived at Monster Mountain riding a real wave of momentum.

But, motocross has a way of reminding you how quickly things can change.

Despite a strong 4th in qualifying, a crash in Race 1 left Ben carrying damage that would affect him for the rest of the day. He was ultimately forced to retire from both motos, leaving Round 5 with no points, a harsh reality check on how fast a championship challenge can slip away.

Ben has since been to hospital and has suffered minor organ damage. With rest and recovery, we’re hopeful he’ll be back on the bike soon.

We’re fully aware that our title hunt may have passed us by, but we are determined to regroup, reset, and come back fighting at the sharp end of the MX2 field for the remaining rounds.

Did you miss this? đź‘€

Huge moment for Ben Mustoe and ASA United GASGAS as our young pilot lined up for his first MX2 World Championship races in Teutschenthal, Germany last weekend. Fighting hard across both motos, bringing home 17th and 18th and securing two point-scoring rides on his first outing on the world stage. A great learning weekend, more confidence on the bike, and another step in the right direction for Ben!

"Threw myself in at the deep end without really knowing what to expect. Happy with my weekend was a good start for my MX2 debut, just need to limit the mistakes next time and hopefully get some better results."

- Ben Mustoe, ASA United GASGAS

We look forward to lining up next weekend for the next round of the British Motocross Championship in Wales.

As always, thank you to all of our magnificent sponsors. Without your support this journey would be much more difficult; we appreciate all of you immensely.

“It was never a matter of if, just a matter of when.”

Ben Mustoe secures his first British Championship MX2 overall victory!

A superb showing from our young MC250f pilot in both motos; a real demonstration of speed, consistency and potential. We came into Landrake with a subtle confidence following Ben’s race win there in 2025 – of course, it’s no secret that the circuit is one of his favourites on the calendar, making this overall even more special with family and friends present to witness it.

In both races Ben was able to quickly establish himself at the sharp end of the pack. Two solid jumps out of the gate and some hard charges put us in with a fighting chance. In race one, Charlie Heyman was able to maintain a decent gap, securing the race win as Ben crossed the line in second. In race two, Ben found himself chasing down the #441 of Billy Askew, who led the pack up until the red flag.

A staggered start and a little over half of the race left to go fed the anticipation as Ben chipped the laps away, drawing in the race leader as Tommy Searle mounted a late charge in third. With just laps to go, Ben was able to make the pass and fight his way to the chequered flag, snatching the race win and claiming his first professional overall victory.

An exemplary display, a roller coaster of emotions, and a result well deserved.

Hats off to you, Ben Mustoe.

As always, thank you to all of our magnificent sponsors. Without your support this journey would be much more difficult. We appreciate all of you immensely, and we hope you are just as proud as we are to see Ben on the top step of the podium.

On The Box!

ASA United GASGAS pilot Ben Mustoe secures his first MX2 podium at the third round of the British Motocross Championship in Lyng, going 3-5 for 3rd overall.

A good qualifying result left Ben poised to gate well going into race one. It’s no secret that starts play a huge part in the racing (especially at Lyng), and Ben was able to propel his MC250f to the sharp end of the field, quickly finding his way into 3rd and maintaining his position until the race was red flagged.

Race two was a dog fight to say the least; once again shooting from the mesh and navigating his way through the bottleneck of Lyng’s first corner to battle with the front runners. Ben was able to drive forward into 4th before a small mishap cost him a couple of positions, and he would find himself fighting to steal 5th at the chequers and 3rd overall at the close of play.

An exemplary display, showing real grit and determination through both motos to deliver a result that we all know he is capable of.

As usual, a huge thank you to all of our sponsors and supporters. We appreciate all of your contributions and commitments, and we hope you enjoyed Ben’s success in Lyng as much as we did.

A testing second round of the British Motocross Championship at Preston Docks for ASA United GASGAS pilot, Ben Mustoe. Kickstarting the day well and qualifying P.4 in his group, securing 7th gate pick for the races. Moto one, a fair start positioned Ben firmly at the sharp end of the field, battling inside the top ten, swapping places and moving forward before the red flag, securing an 8th in the first race.

The second moto - a very level playing field with many of the riders now running a similar pace across the class (especially inside the top ten); it is becoming more and more evident how crucial starts are in MX2, getting out in front of the dog-fight early on and mitigating the small mistakes is vital in pushing for those podium finishes. However, for Ben this weekend was very much a tale of battling through the thick of it, coming away from Preston in one piece and securing another 8th place finish in race two.

Ben now sits 6th in the MX2 Championship as we head to Lyng on the 3rd May. We know what we need to improve and we look forward to coming out of the gate swinging once again at Round Three.
