After our highly successful event tonight at Maharanis Restaurant ( Deeping St. James) we must thank Yas and his incredible team for their fantastic hospitality, we are so grateful for your continued support of our club.

We now look forward to the start of the 2026 season in a few weeks time. Next on the agenda is getting the ground and facilities ready for our first game. We are holding a work party on Sunday 29th March (this Sunday), starting at 10am, and would appreciate as many people as possible coming along to support the grounds team in ensuring the ground is ready for the start of our season’s campaign.

An exciting new position as Head of Junior Coaching at Market Deeping Cricket Club

Market Deeping Cricket Club recently received a cheque for £500 from local Deeping resident Leigh Johnson on behalf of the Worshipful Company of Coopers. The Coopers are an ancient City of London livery company whose main function today is promoting the craft of cask making and supporting education, charities and community groups. While the majority of their support goes to worthy causes in London, Leigh, in his year as Master of the Company, has a discretionary fund to donate to causes close to his heart. Leigh chose to donate part of this Master’s fund to the club specifically to support youth cricket. Pictured is Leigh Johnson with a selection of the young cricketers and the equipment his kind donation, on behalf of the Coopers Company, purchased. MDCC are ever grateful for this kind of support as it helps the club continue to provide cricket, both locally and for the wider community.
Leigh can be seen presenting the cheque to club chairman Tom Anderson and handing over the new kit to Junior Co-Ordinator Jen Hewitt.

A huge win for our Saturday First XI yesterday away at , with a fantastic all-round team performance. 💪

Unfortunately, it wasn’t to be for the Second XI, who were unlucky away at Orton Park.

We now look ahead to a big weekend coming up — the First XI host Bourne at home, while the Seconds travel to Long Sutton. We look forward to seeing you there and having your support! 🟢🟡
