We're EXCITED to have been successful in a bid by the Youth Sport Trust for a bike initiative here at Dame Janet. There are lots of layers to the project which aims to get more children riding safely and confidently with greater access to bikes.

The funding will see the children of Dame Janet having access to bikes to ride in school, a 'Learn 2 Ride' initiative and 'Bikeability' certification for some of our Year 5 and 6 children. We have a Christmas event planned with the Bike Shed in Margate. Look out for more details, but hold the afternoon of Monday 16th December as a date to join us.

In the meantime, Ziggy at The Bike Shed is kindly taking donations of old bikes which he (and his team) will service and make 'new' again ready to be donated to our DJPA families and children in time for Christmas.
