We need your help!
As you know the Margate Winter Gardens is due to close on the 14th August 2022 and for everybody the Winter Gardens holds a special place in their heart for many different reasons. This is why it is so important that we stand together and unite to stop this beautiful building, having the same future as other community assets. We would like to invite you to join us on Thursday 14th July from 6pm to demonstrate our feelings on the future of the Winter Gardens outside Thanet District Council offices, where a full council meeting is happening to discuss a Labour petition led by Councillor Rob Yates, demanding a public meeting to discuss the venue's future. We are encouraging those who attend to wear your best show/theatre costumes and to put on a show outside the TDC offices. (Although costumes are not compulsory)
Finally, the invitation is open to all ages from young to old, as the Winter Gardens is a home for everybody. We look forward to seeing you on 14th July, please share this invitation far and wide.
