What a brilliant Saturday Club we had yesterday at Margate FC! 🙌🔥

Another morning packed with football, fun, learning and development as the young players worked hard, challenged themselves and most importantly, enjoyed every minute on the pitch! ⚽️👏

From ball mastery and technical skills to small-sided games and plenty of goals, there was some fantastic effort from everyone involved. 💪⚽️

⚽️🔥 AUGUST SOCCER SCHOOL - THAT’S A WRAP! 🔥⚽️

What an AMAZING two weeks we’ve had at Margate FC Soccer School! 💙⚽️

With our second and final week finishing last week, we can now look back on two fantastic weeks packed full of football, fun, skills, challenges, games, goals and plenty of smiles! 🙌⚽️

A HUGE thank you to every child who joined us and gave it their all, and of course to all the parents and guardians for your continued support. ❤️

It’s been brilliant watching the children develop their skills, confidence and teamwork while simply enjoying playing the game they love.

👏 Two weeks. Loads of football. Plenty of memories.

We’ll be bringing you another edition during the October break, with more football, more fun and more opportunities for children of all abilities to get involved.

📣 A MESSAGE TO ALL MARGATE FC PARENTS & SUPPORTERS

Following the Club’s recent statement regarding supporter conduct, we wanted to share a quick reminder with all parents and young supporters.

We absolutely want our young fans to get behind the team! 💙⚽️

We want them to sing, make noise, celebrate, enjoy the atmosphere and support the players both at Hartsdown Park and when travelling to away games.

However, supporting Margate FC also comes with a responsibility.

Please remind our young supporters that:

🔵 Respect the opposition, officials, staff and fellow supporters
🔵 Follow the rules and ground regulations at all times
🔵 Do not become abusive or aggressive
🔵 Listen to stewards and club officials
🔵 Help us create a positive and welcoming environment for supporters of all ages

The Club has made it clear that certain behaviour will not be tolerated, and action can be taken where necessary.

As parents, coaches and supporters, we all have a role to play in setting the right example for the next generation.

Keep singing. Keep making noise. Keep backing the boys. 💙

But most importantly, represent Margate FC with pride, respect and good behaviour.

The players were straight into the action, working hard, developing their skills and, most importantly, having loads of fun along the way! 💪🔥

It was brilliant to see everyone getting involved, showing great effort and enjoying their football throughout the session. 👏

🏆 TOURNAMENT WINNERS! 🏆

What a fantastic first tournament for Margate U7s, held today at Herne Bay!

The boys were brilliant from start to finish, showing great teamwork, determination and plenty of footballing talent - and came away as tournament winners!

A special mention also goes to Aldo, who picked up the Fair Play Award. When an opposition player was hurt, Aldo stopped playing to check on him and make sure he was okay.

A brilliant example of the values we want our young players to show both on and off the pitch.

Well done, Danny Scott & Jake Eastwood and congratulations to the whole Margate U7s team! 💙🤍⚽️

🦵 Shinpads must be worn by all children.

🧴 Please apply suncream before arriving and leave some in their bags for reapplication throughout the day.

🥪 Bring a packed lunch.

💧 Bring plenty of water
