We are a friendly and welcoming club that caters for a range of sailors from complete beginners to seasoned pros. The club currently owns 10 fireflies and sails at Tata Steel Sailing club in Port Talbot. We run sailing sessions for all members on Wednesday afternoons followed by epic socials in the evening. We also have some keen yacht racers and are looking to expand the Yachting side of the club

this year! The sailing club also has a competitive racing team with an action packed race calendar that takes them all over the country to compete against other universities. Committee 2021-2022

Sailing AGM 2026 ⛵️ 🌊

After another great year of sailing, racing and memories on the water, we welcome all our members to one final social to wrap up and celebrate the year.

Join us at Pump House in the marina for a dinner party, speeches, prize giving and the announcement of next year’s committee.

Make sure to order any food by Friday 22nd with the form in the members chat.

Today the Swansea team took on Cardiff in the annual Welsh varsity. After giving it our all, Cardiff unfortunately took the win. Despite the loss, everyone had a fantastic day on the water with good breeze and some April sun. A massive thank you to for running this year’s varsity 💛

SPARTAN 2026

This weekend we had the privilege of hosting our annual Swansea Spartan team racing event. Although the wind was less than ideal we still managed to get racing on both days. Along with the racing we enjoyed 2 nights out including our beloved Saturday curry night. 🎉 ⛵️

Alongside the racing, thank you to our Welfare and Charity Officer Ellie as well as Hannah for spending the weekend running the RNLI bake sale. Thank you to everyone who supported them.

We would like to thank everyone who came as well as everyone who volunteered this weekend. Wishing everyone a safe drive back 💛 🤙
