Hi everyone,

Just a quick update to let you know that I’m currently sorting out the club competitions. Myself and april, along with a few others, will be doing the draw on 10th June.

There seems to be a lot more interest in the men’s competitions this year, but we’re struggling a little with numbers in some of the ladies’ events.

At the moment:

* Mixed Pairs has 21 men entered but only 5 ladies, so if there are any more ladies willing to take part, please let me know.
* Ladies’ 2-Bowl Singles currently has 3 entries. Ideally, we could do with one more player so we can have two semi-finals rather than someone receiving a bye straight through to the final.
* Ladies’ Pairs has 5 names entered, so we could do with one more player to make 3 pairs, or 3 more players to make 4 pairs.

It’s not a problem if nobody else wishes to enter—I’m simply trying to make the numbers work as evenly as possible. If not, I’ll go ahead and do the draw with the entries I have.
