It was nice to meet a new young Angler this evening and his mum.

As we all the know, the nights are drawing in, but we still managed to have a really good session on my little pond. He caught some Carp and some lovely Rudd. It was lovely to hear all about his fishing adventures with his Grandad

A warm but very wet day on The River Nene but still nevertheless, as I am allowed to fish this private stretch of river, we have had a fabulous days fishing.

It was an absolute pleasure to meet Will and some of his family today and it was great to see his keen interest in fishing. We managed to have an excellent bag of Perch, Rudd, Bream, Dace and Chub. And right at the end we even had a little bit of Pike action, as a Pike arrived and snatched the fish Will was trying land.

All in all a great day, well done Will 🎣

The sun will be starting to set early from the end of September onwards - so I will only be offering weekend fishing sessions (2 or 4 hours) then.

And, from mid October, I will be starting (weekend) predator fishing days. If I have the same response as last year, (it was VERY popular) so please start to get your bookings in, so you’re not disappointed.

Had a good morning fishing on the river with lovely family (father and two sons). We had a mixed bag of Bream, Dace, Chub, Perch and Rudd.

We also met Steve, The bailiff 16 foot Angling 🎣 and it was great to learn that we also have their support.

I had a nice day off from work today with a friend fishing at Willowcroft Fisheries & Fishermans village leisure park.

It was probably just ‘too hot’ today, but I still managed to pull out a few Carp and there is an old saying “Even a bad days fishing is better than a good day at work”
