It’s been a busy few months at March Rifle Club.
The hot summer weather hasn’t put people off spending their Tuesday evening in a hot clubhouse and range and we have had Loads of new members join the club.
The Air rifles have really taken off and we are even looking at possibly doing a separate air rifle night to accommodate the growing membership.
We are also looking into joining an air rifle league for those who want to take their shooting skills more seriously. This could also include air pistols. Watch this space.
As for the club room and range itself we have had a big clean up and are looking at updating the range layout and making the range as safe as possible for everyone to use whatever they are shooting.
We have been Consultanting with range experts on how to improve our facilities and have already completed some small changes…. We have updated some of the lighting on the range. We also now have a toilet available to use if you get caught short whilst at the club.
The range itself will be undergoing work in the near future with a new beefed up and higher backstop which will allow standing shooting for air rifle and pistol.
So there is plenty happening at the club to make MRC an even better and safer environment to shoot so why not come down and give us a look.👀
