Over the weekend we welcomed nearly 50 teams from multiple regions to Debdale Sports Park for our annual tournament. There was some great football and sportsmanship on show as we tried to give as much game time for all the players involved. All teams were playing for our Blue and Red Cups.

Yesterday in hot conditions at Debdale Sports Park our u13 Blue competed in our Home Tournament against some great teams and players.

We were a little rusty to start after having some time to recuperate since our league season ended but we grew into the tournament and started to find our feet and passing game.

Due to holidays, we had a number of players missing and some of the girls played out of their normal position but we didn't let that stop up going all the way to round off an amazing 2025/26 campaign.

It was great to see the girls back playing and it turned out to be third time lucky after finishing runners up in the last 2 home tournaments as we picked up the Sherwood Colliery FC Ladies Red Cup.

An outstanding display from our u11s blue girls in today’s sherwood tournament. They went through the entire competition without losing a game, not conceding a goal and being the only team not to be beaten by the tournament winners.

They can consider themselves extremely unlucky to lose the reds final on penalties were they dominated the vast majority of the game.

The girls were outstanding throughout the entire tournament and played some unbelievable football, myself and the other coaches could not be prouder of them today 💙🖤
