Want to support the NHS in the long run?

Why not use this time in lockdown to develop better habits with food, exercise and overall health?

In a society where “time” has been most people’s excuse, what better “time” to start looking into your long term health both physically and mentally?

If you can’t find the “time” in lockdown to exercise for 45-60minutes daily, making yourself fitter and stronger then I’d suggest you’re full of excuses and you’ll never find time.

Lockdown is the perfect time to exercise daily, gain control of your food, develop good sleep patterns, educate yourself on energy balance and become a better version of yourself and less of a burden on the NHS and your family members in the long run.

You can not buy or guarantee good health but you can build it and improve it with your daily choices.

What new daily habits could you carry with you out of lockdown?

Can you imagine if you looked after your health like you looked after the material things in your life?

‼️‼️‼️ WRONG ‼️‼️

Most of us have now got more time on our hands than ever before right?

Why not utilise this time to educate yourself and develop better habits with health and fitness?

What can you do right now?

1, Calculate your TDEE and learn how many calories you need to consume to hit your goal. ( https://tdeecalculator.net/ )

2, Download MyFitness Pal and start inputting your food and liquid daily.

3, Get out and walk. Go and have an hour everyday. Walk fast enough to be out of breath but slow enough to hold a conversation. If you have a Fitbit or Apple Watch look at hitting 12k steps daily. If you do that comfortably push for more.

4, Look for home workouts using no equipment. You’ll be surprised at how many are readily available free of charge. Or message me for links to some of my own.

5, Drink more water. Aim for 2.5 litres a day.

6, Challenge a partner or friend to do the same.

We have a daily accountability and support group going that helps with all of the above so you’re not alone. Give me a shout if you want adding to the group.
