Mansfield parkrun At parkrun you can run, jog or just walk! It's a free, timed 5 km event every Saturday at 9 o'clock in lovely Manor Park, Mansfield Woodhouse.

NO PARKRUN on Manor Park this coming weekend but for everyone wondering what to do there are other parkruns local to Mansfield such as Poolsbrook, Vicar Water, Clumber and Sherwood Pines, all of 'em goodies....

And, of course, not forgetting Brierley! sorry, guys đŸĢ¨

I run the risk of getting the sack if I don't give a shout-out for last Saturday when long-term, Mansfield parkrunner Mervyn Wagg clocked his 250th milestone and recent-starter Angela Moss not only clocked her 50th but also a PB!

Very well done to both!! 😀👍

ADVANCE NOTIFICATION JUNE 27

Our very good parkrunner-friends from The North Derbyshire Running Club will be visiting us shortly and bringing their pacers to perhaps encourage us towards a Season's Best or even a Personal Best!

But there is absolutely no pressure because parkrun is for participants of whatever personal level is right for them - walk, jog or run it's all good!

If though you want to try a pacer a little quicker than your usual pace here is the list of runners and their target times - enjoy and 'ave a good un whatever you do! 😃

Just one more reminder THERE IS NO PARKRUN on JUNE 20 but you could visit the summer fair on beautiful Manor Park hosted by the local Woodhouse council.

We as parkrun will be back in action June 27 - why not come and join us? You'll be very welcome. 😊👍

There's been a distinct lack of responses to my earlier message, guys.

We need an additional timer and if we can't get someone to do that, and also someone to hand out finish tokens, the event may have to be cancelled. ☚ī¸

Just about half way through the week and our volunteer roster isn't yet complete... ☚ī¸

We need an additional timer and also a volunteer to fill the wonderfully-titled (by myself 😏) role of 'token-hander-outer'.
